MP provides 2 communities with mechanised boreholes

More than 4 communities in the Kwahu East District have been provided with mechanised boreholes and others renovated.

The boreholes, constructed by the Member of Parliament (MP)  for the Abetifi Constituency, Mr BryaBryan Acheampong , is to avert a possible water crisis in the community, following the malfunctioning of the existing borehole.

Also maintenance works were done on manually operated boreholes in some communities.

People and traditonal heads in the community commended Mr Acheampong for his assistance.

Residents of the community faced difficulties in accessing  potable water when the existing boreholes broke down.

Speaking to Abetificonstituency.com, a resident (name withheld) said

“Only one borehole had been functioning since 2015, and indigenes, numbering up to 1,500, formed endless queues daily to get water from it,

Suntre and Hyewuhoden are not the only communities to have benefited from the MP’s intervention.

Other communities have also benefited from similar interventions from Mr. Acheampong.
